The government of Malaysia bid to host WRO back in 2010. Preparations have been ongoing since the WRO flag was passed on to Malaysia at the closing ceremony of WRO 2010 in Manila, Philippines.

To organize an event like WRO requires the involvement of many different people and authorities. Accommodating close to 3,000 people from more than 35 countries - and make them all feel welcome - is not an easy task.

However, the government of Malaysia has impressively mobilized its resources in anticipation, involving more than 20 ministries and relevant authorities in its preparation works. In addition, WRO 2012 has the support of Sasbadi Pvt Ltd, recognized as a very professional partner of WRO and also the national partner of LEGO Education in the territories of Malaysia and Brunei Darussalam. As such the WRO Advisory Council has great expectations to WRO 2012 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and has full confidence that a unique, wonderful, and educational experience will be given to all participants, adults and young ones alike, from start to finish.
